I started off with the first one and wondered I ought to add the human. The humour in the situations changed though so I decided to draw them both. 

Perhaps they could be parallel universe stories like that "Sliding doors" movie. Either way the oars have the same fate.

I like the thought in the first one because it has one of those "deep psychological suggestions". 

Tribute #10 - Scooby-Doo and Gang

 

Although he's not in the picture (these 5 were mandatory and tired me out!), my favourite character in the Scooby-Doo gang was Scrappy-Doo.  And they made him the bad guy in the movie. I still can't get over that.

Intelligence vs Stupidity - Is it even a fair fight?

 

I completely agree with these thoughts. I'm never allowed to have high hopes for people and progress and some sort of decent governance.
Simple example - a guest wanted to post some of her things back to her country so that she could reduce baggage weight. Our post office said that they were not sending parcels out of the country because it's that time of the month year. I wonder if these people have thought these things through. If this is a security measure, how does sending stuff like clothes etc affect the elections (besides, just invest in a scanner!)? If people wanted to send incriminating documents out, they could simply fed-ex them out. Criminals have plenty of money anyway. It's almost as if this is one giant conspiracy to deliberately stay stupid.

ps - In case frame 2 isn't clear enough: We have these wonderful people who give us the joy of parking themselves right outside an open gate/entrance and remain completely oblivious to anyone who wish to pass. It will also be interesting to note that most animals on the road - dogs,cats, maybe not cows, - move out of the way when they see an approaching vehicle. But the supposedly most intelligent of them all needs to be honked out of the way.

I actually do have thoughts like this while getting a head massage. I already have one big dent in my head but that's not that interesting anymore. I do love head, neck & shoulder massages though!

Maybe this ought to be taught alongside Physics.

I'd done this one some time before Women's day - I think Dowry's still an issue in India despite the laws against it. It takes more than laws to change the minds of people. I've heard school boys saying it's okay if they bum around because eventually they can just live off their dowry income. I've heard people saying they want brides from certain communities because the parents of girls from there compete with each other to give more money to whoever will take their daughter. Yeah, it's simply amazing how so many things have been manipulated from being beneficial to women to being against them.
Anyway, I'd helped out at a Women's day event with the Women of Worth and they had this "Wall of Change" where anyone could write about things women have accomplished or things that needed to change. There were several notes about getting rid of the dowry system. I know that more and more people find it disgusting (yay!) but we still have a long way to go.

Yes, my Achilles Heel is my nose. No touchie.

 

And that's how to stop the mighty Great White Shark. Okay, so I'm exaggerating a bit.

The shark's nose sensors are called "Ampullae of Lorenzini". These sensors are used to detect minute electric charges given off by injured or frightened prey. When one places their hand lightly on the shark's nose and block the shark's sensors, the shark supposedly becomes docile (watch this). Therefore, my parents need not worry when I go off on my grand adventure some day and do this.
