Facebook must be wrong. Everyone loves me!

Strangely enough (I'd drafted this comic several weeks ago), my post yesterday only got about half a dozen likes but Facebook claims that about 200 people viewed it. It must be because I posted a link instead of the full picture. No one seems to like moving from one page to another anymore. It's one of the more difficult chores of the new century. Lazy humans.
My original comic didn't include the last panel. I wasn't sure about adding it but then I thought it would be fun to get a bit dramatic.

Shark Tag

This is just a random comic. I don't even know if the shark in it is my usual shark. I saw the question "What would you do if you were stranded on an island and find sharks swimming all around you?" on Facebook and thought that it would be funny if this happened.
I also had a few alternate last panels. Please pick whichever one you like.

Or how about this one? The sharks were probably having a wine and cheese party. You'd never know.

Eye biting sea-rats!

The origin for the random idea behind today's comic is from a couple of our friends who decided to play a prank. They texted me saying that one of them went swimming and got bitten on the eye by a rat. Now, I fell for this prank (and got slightly worried) because the said friends are highly capable of swimming in rat-infested waters. However, picturing the event caused me to crack up and sparked off a comic idea. This is what one of the texts said: "My eyeball is out of my skull and is in a rat's mouth running down the beach! aaah" (at this point I probably should have known that this was all in jest). How could I have not come up with this? If I were a bit more "Happy tree friend-ish", I'd have made it a bit more graphic but no.

This comic is available for a short period of time only. View today!

Yes, limited or collectors' edition/ stickers/captions make me want to buy items more than I would otherwise. It's a clever ploy to lure people like me. I own several (some embarrassing) memorabilia simply because I believed it was my last chance to own something that I'd someday wish for a chance to get rid of. The worst is when they bring out DVDs and CDs and after you've bought them, they bring out collectors' editions or Director's cut edition or some special editions. I own 3 different versions of Shania Twain's "Up!" album. True story.

Totally different note:  Would anyone like to buy a few collectors' editions DVDs?

The tranquility of nature

This would have made a nice video clip. You need to imagine the awesome backdrop of the mountains (since I can't be bothered to draw them that well) and the serene atmosphere and then the burst of chaos.
I love nature, especially the mountains but moths and other flying insects make them seem like horror movie sets. Leeches are alright as long as you don't see them. (It's quite interesting to see what happens when you sprinkle salt on them).
Anyway, the shark wasn't supposed to sit on the squirrel but on one side of the human while the squirrel sat on the other. Then I absent-mindedly drew the squirrel where I intended the shark to be and then was too lazy to change it. My humour is sometimes accidental.

Don't steal my tombstone designs!

I quite like the tombstone designs I've done. Very creative, I must say.
I also confess that I am quite morbid in this way. I love cemeteries and reading things people have inscribed on graves.

Tell me I am what I say I am!

The other day my mum said that I should have been born a dolphin or a whale so that I could just sort of swim about and do nothing without a care in the World. For some strange reason, there was this vague feeling of being insulted.
And last night I was called a squid. Not funny. It's as if she deliberately names every other sea creature.
I used to be addicted to those personality tests (what kind of dog are you, what colour are you) on that one site (can't even remember what it's called). I'd be happy when the result was something I liked, if not I'd take it again.
Those things never work because we usually answer with what we want to be or think we are. Also, the options are limited to whoever wrote the program. If he was a lazy squid, he wouldn't have included half of the more suitable answers.
It's also funny how we sometimes look to others for answers about ourselves when we probably already have some clue.
