Don't steal my tombstone designs!

I quite like the tombstone designs I've done. Very creative, I must say.
I also confess that I am quite morbid in this way. I love cemeteries and reading things people have inscribed on graves.

So much for being punch proof!

There are actually two porcupine-ish characters in my cartoons - each inspired by a different friend. This one is for a friend whose birthday it was yesterday. Actually, I drew it this morning but dated it as yesterday (In my defense, I had the idea last night). You know, I needn't have even revealed this information and let you think I'd actually drawn it on time for someone's birthday. It's because of personality flaws such as this that I wouldn't make a good politician.

The friend involved has this weird notion that I used to beat them up when we were younger. I have no idea what that's about... that doesn't sound even remotely like me!

Shark finning makes sense (sensibility being relative)

Every now and then I'll point out things like human rights violations and shark finning issues.  Talking about serious stuff in comic strips does not make light of them but it's done in hopes that all medium will resonate with awareness of what needs to change.
I'm not always in tune with the latest news so I'm not sure if everybody was good to everybody else today (the cynic in me says no). If they were and my strip was pointless, then I hope it stays that way.

I'd drawn this over a month ago. It could be sort of a follow-up/link-up to an old strip. It's not particularly funny but I like how my squirrel turned out.

Nightmares and Dream-escapes

As much as great dreams make sleep so much more peaceful, one eventually has to wake up. Every time I have a good dream and I'm woken up, it makes me feel irritable to wake up to reality. But in bad dreams, you can actually tell yourself not to worry because once you wake up all of this will be fine.

I had a very strange, sort of bad dream last night. There were these annoying strangers who invited themselves along on an adventure I was on. They even assumed they were going to stay with me in my ancient castle like accommodation. I remember telling myself that they were not real and that they won't be there when I wake up. I had no idea I was this anti-social and inhospitable!
That left me feeling a bit disturbed. I guess.

Tribute #11: The Bunny Suicides

This is my tribute to the "Bunny Suicides" by Andy Riley. While suicide is an awful topic, his comics are simply brilliant. Because, you know, they're bunnies. It probably wouldn't really happen.
I think he did do one with a shark. But my version is extra special.

One gigantic digestive system

I'd drawn these images (and several more) back in April but didn't get the time to actually finish the comic sequence. By the time I'd gotten around to it, I'd actually forgotten what I was going to write about. Thankfully, I had jotted down some dialogue in my notebook. The idea of the human race being one big digestive tract made laugh out loud. My dad would enjoy this analogy because he's a gastroenterologist and a bit of a cynic.
I know that the first panel has a lot of words, but it's all true. I go on twitter and millions of voices are bashing people who voice their opinion about the destructive nature of porn and such. It almost seems as if there's a force out there trying to manipulate humans into thinking what's good is bad and what's bad is good, doesn't it?
