Can't believe the year flew by so quickly!

Maybe this is why people run away to the hills or the woods to "find themselves" or become "better". It's easy to be good when there isn't anyone else around to be bad to or be better than. The trick is to be as good as you're meant to be while in whatever situation you may be.

This concept would have worked with either the human or shark deciding to be a nicer person. It would've been funnier if it was the latter and that was my first choice but I was on a drawing spree at an unearthly hour and when I woke up in the morning, this was what I found. I shall have to do the other version some other time.

Happy New Year, everyone! May this coming year bring more wit, laughter, humour, sarcasm and silliness!

PS - And vote for me on all the blog awards possible :D

7 People care:

  1. Hahahah That's why you need to move to a city where there's no family and you can be yourself. But then, knowing you, you'd be cranky and weird in any city! :P And you're welcome! Hehe

  2. The problem with running away to the woods is, there's really no getting away from myself!

I like this version better. :P And i like the length of the list Shark is holding.

  3. read something just completely different the other day - it was probably meant for those probably who, uhm, let's say, pretend to be nice - in front of people. The idea then was "true character is shown when you are alone and nobody is watching you". I think I know both sides personally. But I don't like the concept of abbeys/convents - basically it's not difficult to be "nice" if there are no "distractions"... Definitely like your comic :)

  4. Oh I agree about trying to be nice where you are, but unless you are with yourself and like your own company, you can't feel comfortable around others. Do read my latest post (Or is this a dig at THAT one? :D )

Happy new year to you and the adorable shark!
